Dr. Ronald King was born on February 23rd, 1948. He grew up in Richfield, Minnesota, attending Richfield High School. He played baritone sax with the school's marching band, attained the rank of Eagle Scout and was a ski jumper. In 1972, he graduated from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry with a DDS degree. Dr. King was a captain in the United States Air Force as a Dentist at Holloman Air Force base in New Mexico where he flew small planes. He was a part time professor at the Univesity of Minnesota, School of Dentistry. He was also a member of the men's Alpine crew at the 2002 Winter Olympics at Salt Lake City.

Dr. King was appointed by Governors Ventura and Pawlenty to serve on the Minnesota Board of Dentistry. He practiced holistic dentistry for over 15 years. He was the president of the Holistic Dental Association, a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, Twin Cities Dental Study Club, and the American Dental Association.

Dr. King touched the lives of so many people with his care, sense of humor and his kindness.

Dr. King lost his battle to cancer on October 21st, 2010...His memory will continue to live among his family, patients and colleagues.
